Camping near Cap Fréhel

Our campsite is only 20 minutes away from Cap Fréhel, an essential site in Brittany. Classified Natura 2000, the Grand site Cap d’Erquy – Cap Fréhel offers to its visitors beautiful cliffs of pink sandstone and emerald seas to take your breath away!

A hike to the tip of Cap Fréhel

Walk from the beautiful village of Fréhel to the top of the cliffs of Cap Fréhel. Made of schist and pink sandstone, they rise 70 m above the sea: a magnificent view between land and sea guaranteed! Stroll through the wild moors between the heather and gorse. Discover this wild and preserved nature by staying at the campsite near Cap Fréhel.

Nature lovers will be delighted to discover a fabulous bird sanctuary just a stone’s throw from the Bellevue campsite. Keep your eyes open and you may be lucky enough to spot one of the many seabirds such as the crested cormorant, herring gull or the very rare razorbill.

All their senses will be awakened from May to October by the scents of the flowers, by the symphony of colours from the purple of the heather to the yellow of the gorse.
In good weather, take the coastal path GR34 which links Cap Fréhel to Fort la Latte of about 1h30. It offers you a breathtaking panorama. Don’t hesitate to visit the Fort la Latte, also known as Château Goyon, which is well worth a visit.

Visit the Cap Fréhel lighthouse

The Cap Fréhel lighthouse is one of the 5 most powerful lighthouses in France. Built in the 1950s and 33 metres high, it offers visitors a remarkable panorama of the island of Bréhat, part of the Cotentin and the Chausey islands.
